The same religious persecution the Pilgrims fled on the Mayflower in 1620 is being enforced today — not in England, but in the incorporated state churches of America, cloaked in tax-exempt paperwork and the legal name “Seventh-day Adventist.” The Loud Cry of Revelation 18:1–4 is sounding. Will you come out? Or will you be partakers of her plagues?

Let that land with its full weight. Your eternal destiny — heaven or the seven last plagues, life or ruin — is decided by this test. Not by a test you take in a comfortable pew with your theology intact and your tithe records perfect. It is decided by what you do when the image of the beast confronts you personally — when the institution you trusted, the church you were baptized in, the organization you gave your life savings to, is revealed to be standing on the wrong side of prophetic history. The image of the beast is not coming. It is already formed. It was formed on April 15, 1904 in Washington, District of Columbia.

Six months after EGW wrote these words, on April 15, 1904, five men signed a legal document in Washington D.C. creating the “General Conference Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists” — a new organization. The storm and tempest did sweep away the structure. What exists today under that corporate name is not the church built by the Advent pioneers. It is the prophesied image.

The Framework for the Final Test
You cannot understand what is happening in 2026 without understanding the Three Angels. They are not distant future prophecy. They frame exactly the situation we are living in right now.
“Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea.”
The judgment hour began in 1844. The Fourth Commandment — Remember the Sabbath day — is the seal of the Creator in that judgment. To fear God and worship Him as Creator IS to keep His Sabbath.

The Protestant churches fell in 1844 by rejecting the First Angel. Their falling did not stop — it accelerated. By 1904, even the Adventist corporate structure had replicated the papal union of church and state that Babylon defined.
“If any man worship the beast and his image … Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
The seal of God is the Seventh-day Sabbath — the sign of God’s creative and redemptive authority. The mark of the beast is Sunday sacredness enforced in place of the Sabbath. There is no middle ground.
What Is The Image of the Beast?
It Is Already Formed — April 15, 1904
The image of the beast is not a statue. It is not a microchip. It is a system. When a Protestant church submits itself to civil incorporation — when it registers under the authority of the state, grants the state governance over its legal structure, and becomes a creature of civil law — it has made an exact image of the Papacy: civil authority over religious life. That is the union of church and state. That is the beast’s image. And the Adventist corporate body made that image on April 15, 1904.

The Day Five Men Signed Away the Church
and Called It Organization
On April 15, 1904 — precisely six months after Ellen White warned that entering any new organization would mean apostasy from the truth — five men sat down in Washington, District of Columbia and signed the Articles of Incorporation for the “General Conference Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists.” They created a legal corporation. They handed the church to the state. They built their foundation on the sand that EGW said the storm and tempest would sweep away. These are the five men who signed:
Every member of the SDA denomination today is a member of the legal successor to the corporation those five men created. Every building the church occupies, every publishing house, every hospital, every school — legally owned by the descendant of that 1904 corporation. When you sit in an SDA pew, you are sitting inside a 501(c)(3) state-controlled organization whose legal existence traces directly to April 15, 1904 — the day EGW said was apostasy.

And Now It Has Come Back.

The Circle of Tyranny Closes
In 1620, the Pilgrims jammed themselves into a tiny vessel called the Mayflower and left everything they knew to cross a violent winter ocean. What were they fleeing? Exactly what you are being asked to submit to right now. They were fleeing the Church of England — a state church, incorporated under the crown, that used civil law to compel religious conformity. Worship the king’s way. Observe the king’s Sunday. Submit to the king’s sacraments. Or be fined, jailed, silenced, destroyed.
They crossed the ocean for one reason: so that no government, no king, and no incorporated church could dictate their conscience before God. They wrote the First Amendment to guarantee that their sacrifice would not be undone.
And on April 15, 1904, in the capital city of the nation they built, five men quietly undid it. They incorporated the Adventist body into the very system the Pilgrims had bled to escape. Not by violence. By paperwork. By a corporate charter filed in Washington, D.C. The new organization was the old tyranny reborn.
The 501(c)(3) Church Is
A State-Controlled Institution.
This Is Not a Metaphor.
When the Pilgrim Fathers fled the Church of England, the weapon used against them was legal incorporation. A church under a crown charter was a legal body subject to the king’s law, not God’s law alone. When the king said Sunday, it said Sunday. When the crown said silence the dissenter, it silenced them. A 501(c)(3) organization is the direct American equivalent. It is a federally recognized legal entity operating under a contract with the United States government that dictates what it may and may not say, who it must legally serve, and how it must structure its governance. The IRS is the landlord. The congregation is a tenant. That is the image of the beast. It is not forming. It formed in 1904. You are inside it right now.
What Your 501(c)(3) Church Is Actually Forbidden to Do — By Law, By IRS Contract
- Cannot endorse or oppose any candidate for political office — meaning your pastor cannot expose a politician who pushes Sunday laws without jeopardizing the church’s tax status. The very warning the Third Angel calls for is legally gagged.
- Cannot take substantial lobbying positions on legislation — meaning the church that was built to warn against Sunday law legislation cannot substantially advocate against it without risking IRS discipline.
- Must file IRS Form 990 or lose tax exemption — disclosing finances, governance structure, and key employees to the federal government. The state knows your church’s every financial move.
- All property held in the corporate name is property of the corporation, not the members. If you are expelled, the building remains with the corporation. This is the landlord-tenant relationship — the civil arm controls access to worship space.
- The corporation’s legal charter supersedes congregational authority on structural matters. The board of directors, not the biblical eldership, holds legal power. The state created those structures in 1904.
- Donors receive tax deductions for tithes and offerings — making every tithe dollar a joint financial arrangement with the federal government. Your offering has been co-signed by the IRS.
This is not a conspiracy theory. This is contract law. The SDA denomination entered this contract voluntarily on April 15, 1904 and has renewed it every year since through continuing 501(c)(3) registration. The Pilgrims shivered aboard a leaking ship crossing the North Atlantic to escape this exact arrangement. Their descendants are paying tithe into the heart of it. Heaven marks the movement. And the Loud Cry is calling you OUT.

The test that decides your eternal destiny is not a theology exam. It is not a committee vote. It is not a denominational transfer form. It is personal obedience to God’s word at great personal cost, in the face of family pressure, social pressure, financial pressure, and the weight of tradition. The Pilgrims did not flee England by committee. They obeyed God and got on the boat. Here is what the Loud Cry calls you to do:
- 1Read the primary documents. Do not take our word for it. Download the 1905 SDA Yearbook PDF and read the Articles of Incorporation yourself. Read 1SM 204 in full context. Read Revelation 18 with fresh eyes. Verify every claim against the original sources.
- 2Understand what you are part of. Your local SDA church operates under authority that traces to the April 15, 1904 corporate charter. The building is owned by the corporation. The organization is registered as a 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt entity. This is not opinion. This is legal public record.
- 3Ask the hard question: Is this the church the pioneers built? William Miller, Charles Fitch, Joseph Bates, James White, Hiram Edson — every one of them left their denomination when that denomination proved unfaithful. They did not leave God. They left Babylon — and found the present truth. The same call is sounding today.
- 4Keep all the commandments of God (Revelation 14:12). The Seventh-day Sabbath is the seal of the living God (Rev. 7:2–3, Ex. 20:8–11). The Fourth Commandment is not abolished. It is not replaced. It is the test commandment — the one that identifies whose worship you are offering: the Creator’s or the beast’s.
- 5Come out in faith — not in anger, but in obedience. The call of Revelation 18:4 is not a call to condemn individuals. It is a call to separate from a system. You can love people inside Babylon while refusing to remain in Babylon. Come out. Bring others with you. This is the patient endurance of the saints (Rev. 14:12).

White • 1888 Materials, p. 765The truths given through the pioneer Advent movement — the sanctuary doctrine, the Sabbath, the Three Angels’ Messages, the state of the dead — are old truths to be recovered. The new wine is not new doctrine. It is the old pioneer message given with new power. Brother Miller’s Dream (1850) is the prophetic preview: the gems scattered, and then restored one by one by faithful hands.

You know that the Loud Cry of Revelation 18:4 is not a suggestion — it is a command addressed to God’s people who are currently inside Babylon.
